Hot Teacher Summer Workshop Terms of Use

By purchasing and/or accessing the Hot Teacher Summer Workshop and its materials, you agree to the following Terms of Use.

Copyright & Ownership

All workshop materials, including but not limited to templates, files, videos, tutorials, instructions, examples, graphics, and other content provided as part of the Hot Teacher Summer Workshop, are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Your purchase grants you a single-user license to access and use these materials in accordance with the terms below. Purchasing the workshop does not transfer ownership or copyright of the original templates, designs, or workshop materials to you.

What You MAY Do

You may:

• Use the provided templates to create resources for your own classroom or educational use.

• Use the provided templates to create new educational resources for commercial sale, including on Teachers Pay Teachers, your own website, or other marketplaces.

• Add your own educational content, questions, activities, directions, graphics, branding, and other original elements to create a finished educational resource.

• Customize the templates as demonstrated or permitted within the workshop for the purpose of creating your own finished educational resources.

Commercial use is permitted only when the template is incorporated into a completed educational resource containing your own original educational content. The template itself may not be the primary product being sold or distributed.

What You MAY NOT Do

You may not:

• Sell, share, distribute, give away, or otherwise provide access to any original Hot Teacher Summer template or workshop file.

• Resell or distribute the templates as templates, whether modified or unmodified.

• Sell or distribute editable versions of the templates that would allow another person to use the underlying template to create their own resources.

• Repackage, bundle, or redistribute the original workshop materials or files.

• Share workshop videos, tutorials, instructions, downloads, links, or other workshop-only content with individuals who have not purchased access.

• Claim the original template designs, workshop materials, or underlying files as your own creation.

• Use the templates or workshop materials to create competing templates, template collections, courses, workshops, memberships, tutorials, or other products that teach or provide others with the underlying templates or designs.

• Upload, share, or distribute any workshop materials through shared drives, websites, social media, groups, email, file-sharing services, or any other method.

• Transfer, sublicense, or give your license to another person or business.

Commercial Resources Created With the Templates

Resources you create for commercial sale must contain meaningful original educational content and must be sold as a finished educational resource, not as a reusable template.

For example, you may use a game template provided in the workshop to create and sell a completed math, ELA, science, or other educational activity containing your own questions and instructional content.

You may not take the game template, make cosmetic changes, and sell it as an editable game template for other educators or sellers to customize themselves.

In addition, the finished educational resource may not be sold or distributed as an editable version that would allow another person to use the underlying template to create their own resources. All finished educational resources must be sold or distributed with the proper protections as outlined within the workshop.

Credits

When using Hot Teacher Summer templates in resources you distribute commercially, please include credit to the original template creators on your resource's credits page.

The inclusion of credit does not grant permission for uses that are otherwise prohibited under these Terms of Use.

Individual Access

Your workshop purchase and license are for one individual user only. Workshop access may not be shared with colleagues, friends, team members, employees, contractors, or other individuals.

If you are unsure whether a particular use of a Hot Teacher Summer template or workshop material is permitted, please contact us before distributing or selling the resource.

We are happy to clarify whether your intended use falls within the permitted commercial-use license.
